Miami's @exitsense collides major pop moments from the past few years with a flurry of gabber kicks, broken Caribbean rhythms and recontextualized classical motifs, drawing out a disturbing brilliance from the resulting mash. It's a space where Young Thug, Rihanna and Future are paired with sonorous violin and enough foley effects to give the full tape a twisted cinematic edge. Amor 107.5 isn't reminiscent of any radio station you've ever heard, but this multitude of conflicting influences is somehow culled together in Exit Sense's distinctive world.
