I was recently asked how I have made diversity inroads as a nonwhite woman without being the DEI leader on a company's HR team. My career has not been about leading marketing, brand media and communication strategies alone, but also about my being a catalyst for change, mentoring and advocating for institutional practices that benefit diverse communities of all people and those who start with disadvantages at large. I have been a CEO in the NGO space and a CMO in Finance and Advance Tech. I myself AM diverse. Count me in.
