Description

A short composition created specifically for the "Belfast Imagined" Special Issue of Five Points a Journal of Literature and Art (Vol. 13 No. 2, 2010). "Fae Oot O Killyglen" refers to a specific location in Co. Antrim. The composition is in three sections. The first, entitled "Five Ducks", is the story of one man's experience with a spontaneously reanimating water fowl. "I've Never Been Normal", the second section, features a passage from the life story of Elizabeth Yenson, Belfast's oldest resident (110). The final section, "Sheep and Sinners", deconstructs the loud admonitions of a notorious firebrand, the Rev. Ian Paisley. Available on CD at : www.aucourantrecords.com
