There is no distance
between human souls
except geographical
there are only those…..
miles that separate
us physically
from compatibility.
Thus the further
we reach out
to each other the closer
we’ll all become
We are all cut
from the same patterns
only our colors vary
our God was
very fashionable
when he created us
for he is
multi-colored and
he sought to form
a vibrant, unique
living and loving
extension of himself.
All the animals
he had created
came in the
same colors
per each species
as he had assigned
yet many
preyed endlessly
upon each other.
in a survival of the fittest?
Where only the strong
and vicious ruled?
Colors mattered little
but sadly most remained
distant from each other
they were grazers or hunters
Yes, some animals kill to feed
and we were granted
some animals to kill
to feed us
yet each creature had the
means to camouflage itself
from all predators
and for that fact alone
God showed mercy.
All were given
chances to survive
But we were not
meant to kill
each other and it is the
greatest distancing
between souls
only love can cure
the distancing of mankind
Animals were not
given the intelligence
of mankind even though
some of mankind
was not "kind" to others
and so men’s tribes
too remained distant
from those who would
persecute and kill
as well as those who would
camouflage themselves
to gain access to
those they hated
and sought to enslave.

All of God’s human
creations were
given free will
and the knowledge
of good and evil
but many remained
distanced
from what God had willed
Sadly in his looking
down upon us
he did not ordain
that some of
his creations
would choose
to look down
on others who were
different in their ethnicity
he was saddened by those
who decided to remain
distant and hateful.
This has gone
on for centuries
and thus all of God’s
creatures bleed
at the hands of those
whose souls remain distant
it is a vicious circle
with barriers of prejudice
politics and yes even religion.
There is no difference between
Buddhists, Hindus, Christians
Jews, Muslims, Catholics,
or any of the ceremonial
tributes that each sect
pays to their God
yet many have been
made to pay in souless ways
for those same tributes.
many teach their followers
to remain distant
from other faiths.
but faith is universal.
it encompasses all
at least until......
All humans realize
that there is no distance
between human souls
except geographically
only those miles
separate us physically
from compatibility
thus the further
we reach out
to others the closer
we will all become
As we all become
more distant from
any hope of compatibility
in this cold, cruel world.
But there will
come a reckoning
a separation of
good from evil
the coldest of distancings
and those judged unworthy
will remain distant from
all of God’s glory
they will be left in a place
where there are no colors
to judge and where
they can bring no hurt
to anyone but themselves.
each mans idea of heaven
can hold no hate.
it is a place of loving souls
where no distance
between them exists
so take a lesson from this
and go forth freely
and practice it.
lest the reckoning
finds you lacking
and you are left as
one of millions of
distant souls
who have nothing in
common but hate
all left to commiserate
in the depths of their regrets.
