It's a massive Flea Market
Always open 24 hours
for our entire lifetime...
They offer dreams for sale
some are battered and used
and they hold just
a glimpse of Hope
but their still usable
and some that others
seldom touch
are made Brand new and
come there to seek
out your claims.
Purchased with
sweat and tears
to carry it to a
place where you can
bring it home to your heart
and make it real.
make it real.......
But beware
there are Hucksters...
Sham artists everywhere
selling rip-offs and
counterfeit chances
one must choose carefully
what they will cherish
lest it perish
As for me,
I would buy peace,
not only for my troubled soul
but for all of the lonely
war-torn and hungry...
I'd simply give it away.......
Keeping a bit for myself
and then handing out
the rest of my dreams
to the world.
to every soul
that is worthy
of being gifted
a new dream
that they can't claim
that they just can't begin to fathom
because dreams require belief
and if no one believes
in your dream......
you get to the point where
you don't even
believe in yourself
you've got to take that dream
and tuck it into
your heart and soul
and take control and
spread it around the world
until it becomes whole
and becomes part of you
Then for all of those
who are deserving of less
I would offer them
a chance.... one chance
to make good
on all the harm
they have caused
and earn by their
renunciation of evil
just a bit of this peace
I long to share.
