I have come to hate
everything that’s fake
fake sweepstakes
False Eyelashes,
and broke folks who brake
in front of you and
then sue you for their
feigned crashes
fake news, false views
and imitation booze
Dive bars sell in
ten-buck glasses
fake butts and breasts
female implanted effects
that are so unnaturally massive
Expensive tickets for
my favorite group
that are counterfeit
money I can’t recoup
and false prophets who claim
that they are truly God
but when they need
all your money
I find that rather odd
and scam artists that
call me up every day
on my cell phone
when I’m home
I just blow a loud whistle
in their greedy ears
and then I listen
to them moan
and then their calls disappear
But the most bogus thing
I have ever faced
that left me hurting,
broken hearted and
so sadly disgraced
is when a beautiful girl
tells me she’s crazy ‘bout me
until I come to find out
she’s after my money
or a gal who talks me into
buying her drinks
and gets me hoping
I’ll get lucky
with her sexy wink
then much later she
heads off to
the ladies room
and then she goes right
out the back door
of that damned saloon.
or a girl who pretends
to love me till I find out
making her real boyfriend jealous
is what she’s all about.
Fake love is the worst deceit
I’ve ever known,
it poisons your heart and
cuts you to the bone
when you ask her for her number
and find out with a groan
that she gave you a number
for a nursing home.
and guys are guilty too
each time a gals being wooed
they’ll tell her they’re not married
but the truth is tattooed
by pale flesh on their ring fingers
where gold bands where removed
So be smarter out there
and you must always take care.
there’s a million types of fake love
guys and gals like to share,
if you’re looking for some real love
then you’d best be prepared
cause fake love’s a perfect copy
it will fool you…soooooo……beware.
