There is no lost
and found for Love
no counter with
a nice, old lady
rooting through
the endless boxes
of other peoples losses......
There is no place
for such lost causes.
No one else to
turn it in for you
for they have lost
loves of their own
and they searched
endlessly alone....
and ended up
just going home.

or in an unread
message on your phone
there is no such remedy
when loves melody
hits a sour note
and two hearts
turn to stone.
Although some will
turn stones tirelessly
hoping that they can recover
someway to just
be friends again
but such friends
never make good lovers.

of your easy chairs
grown hard by
your lonely despair
there are millions
of lonely souls out there
who are just like you
and long to share
a love that doesn’t
need repair.....repair
with someone who
no longer cares.
Set aside your grief
and seek relief
and fill your soul
with a strong belief
that with efforts
you’ll succeed
no one finds new love
while they still bleed
there is no band-aid
for such misery.
But there are warm hands
and eager lips
eager to set sail
on that great friendship
to that island where
two become as one
forsaking loves
that have come undone
where the fruits
of love are abundant
and so easy to reach.

or the taking
till soon your
back to making
sweet love with
a new partner
where you both
will try much harder...
to share no chance
for departure
cause loneliness
is so much harsher
let true love be
your safe harbor.

good about goodbyes
when it comes to love
it’s a word despised
brought on by cheating,
lust and lies
brief pleasures with
no compromise

Get up and crawl
out of your pajamas
turn all your loneliness
into commas
go out and seek some
