Just some humble words
that are all leaking from my soul
true emotions uncontrolled
taking on a voice
they leave me no choice,
they must be said
to clear my head

inspirations set free
like butterflies
from a cocoon
or escaping helium
from a balloon
as I try to express

but the dictionary
does not hold
any words that
fit perfection’s mold
leaving me
endless stories
left untold
in words not
made of 24 kt. gold
that would shine brighter
then the love in your eyes
there are no verbs
that can confer
to others and affirm
the taste of your kiss
Like intoxicating herbs
The pulp I write
seems so absurd.
My tongue is tied
even when I speak
held hostage by
your love so sweet
I even add a melody
to make my thoughts
more heavenly
as I struggle to compose
what you mean to me
but all these keys
both black and white
fall flat or sharp
each note grows trite
compared to your
sweet whispers shared
igniting passions never aired
your love has grown
beyond compare
to any words my
tongue would dare
lay bare as offerings to you
No music can create the bliss
I feel with you
it falls remiss
the best way I can
state my bliss
is for us to share
