I just want to spend a long
and lazy day with you
with nothing else to do
but lounge in the
hammock of your arms....
No schedules to keep
and no punching alarms
Breakfast in bed brought
right up to our suite.
French toast crisp and sweet
and two cups of hot coffee
to make morning complete.
With the door left ajar
as I lay where you are
then I’ll tip the bellhop
two tens and a cigar.
We’ll French kiss
between nibbles
of the maple syrup dribbles
and I won’t even quibble
when you eat all the bacon.
On this day we’re forsaking
all of life’s rush so crazy
both of us being lazy
Dedicated to nothing
but each other for 24
hours that will s l o w....
to what seems like decades
as we both get to know
all the intimate ways we
can let our love show…..
We’ll both pause for lunch
cause baby, I’ve got hunch
that passion increases
both of our needs to munch
on two lobster rolls
and some creme brule
brought up by the same bell hop
on our lazy day.
With a smile on his face
as I tip him once more
cause he knows supper's coming
and he’ll be back at our door.

except each other... under covers
where we’ll remain cocooned
exerting all of our efforts

who never will be

Enjoying a whole day
just being lazy……
then much later we’ll rise
in the wee hours of night
and share tender kisses
underneath the moon light
filling us with delight....
On a balcony that offers
incredible views….
then we’ll fall into bed
and I’ll draw you real close
and tell you there’s no one
that I ever loved the most
as I do you ………..baby.
Then we’ll share a chilled toast
with glasses of champagne
and some chocolate éclairs
when that bottle is drained....
I’ll pull you much closer
and again we’ll embrace
some more breathtaking love
at a most lazy pace~~~~~~~~~~~~
and as I study the afterglow
smile on your face
we’ll both slip into dreams
where all lovers must go
