Baby we can have them all
sharing love on our life cycle
built for two, me and you
Traveling together
over bumps in the road
over mountains and plains
that are not so plain with you
The world is far more beautiful
as I take this ride with you
that transports us to
places we have only dreamed about
Chasing bliss on our life cycle
Pumping together as one
as we flee the desolate
realms of our loneliness
floating together beyond the past
on the wheels of our time
that move so fast
with our journey cast....
Towards family, beautiful babies
giggling in carriers
in front and behind us
till they too master
the delicate balance
of their own life cycles….
of thier own life cycles
Godspeed to our precious children
Watching them grow into
carbon copies of us
less the ugliness and muss
of the world at large.
Sharing only love for all
on their life cycles
Until they leave us on other
cycles of life built for two
Just like me and you.
Then when we at last grow old
and face that higher road
oh, what a ride it will be
as we each take that
leap of faith into eternity
leaving kisses and
fondest farewells to our children
our legacies in flesh.
Then together again
beyond the detours of death
we will ride on our winged
cycles of After-life after-life
sharing heavenly love
as we explore that beautiful
world of God’s realm
rejoined with all who've
gone before us
in a reunion beyond
all imagining
No more Winters, Springs
Summers or Falls
Baby we can have it all
Sharing endless love
on our eternal life cycles
