She was my fantasy girl
came out of nowhere,
the gods broke my wishbone
that slingshot up my
prayers to them for mercy.
I’d been lonely so long
My love’s had all turned out wrong
I even stopped writing songs
It seemed like heaven and earth
Had truly cursed me.
She was five foot Eight
with a cherubic face
only the angels could make
ending my lonely break
and reversing,
All the pain of lost love
that was wracking my brain
burning holes in
my heart and soul
till they lay bursting….
Chorus-
Why was I blessed
with so much luck
Pulled free from
the mire and muck
Of all my love’s left behind,
She appeared suddenly
With a love meant for me
And she ravished my mind,
with Joy I couldn’t find
Cause true love left me blind……
Now we both are an item
All over this town
And my friends who’d
grown tired of my blues...oooos
Have all come back around
They are enamored
by her pure beauty
And the love that I’ve found,
And all her kisses bring rapture
we know we’re both bound.
Church or a
Justice of the peace
Who will bring
The truest love shared by two
As our souls both take wings
Far above tainted love
Or a casual fling,
So I’ve dusted off my guitar
Cause it’s time that I sing………
She was my fantasy girl
came out of nowhere…..
but thanks to all
of my prayers.
to the heaven's devine
she’s Mine………
she's mine...she's mine.
