with a spring in her step,
that bounced the coils in her hair
around an ocean of depth,
in her blue eyes that gazed at me
as she walked by,
she had me feeling like
the very first time I got high.
Then she paused at my car window
and she smiled at me,
and we spent some time
together conversationally….
