There are so many
things I’ve done
in life without a clear view
stumbling blind in situations
not sure of what I should do,
losing many opportunities
that I’d sadly misconstrued
yet sometimes I got lucky
shots in the dark that did come true

Life is full of endless choices
and the whispers of two voices
should I go or should I stay?
should I love or just abstain?
should I just ignore a pain
that eventually went away?
should I take a chance
to elevate the status offered me?
or let it fade with a reluctant stance
lost to me eternally.

There were times to be Heroic
never knowing what might happen
I saved a few lives, lost some more
it’s the few I lost that blacken
my decision to rush blindly
never letting my doubt bind me
and though it all is far behind me
my clearer views today remind me.....
There were so many days I wasted
lazy days that I created
never knowing that when I grew old
there’d be so much I never tasted
moments that would not be pasted
in the memories of my mind
clearer views I’d never find.
If we truly knew our futures
we’d need no clear view maneuvers
we’d avoid what made us losers
we’d ignore all the false rumors
we would all be just commuters
to what we already knew
which would make our lives so boring
with no options for exploring
and no chances for restoring
any wrong views we had chosen
all decisions would be frozen
we’d always know
before we’d spoken
that our clear views had all stolen

Which is why I truly do prefer
my life with unclear views
it gives me so much more to ponder
I kind of like being confused
cause it gives me more decisions
many paths invade my vision
every day brings me new missions
choices all come with conditions
my thought process is exercised
it will be till the day I die
till the day I die
I like the ifs and buts and whys
I guess I’m not a clear viewed guy
