My taste in music started in the 90s. Thanks to my uncle who introduced me to different music styles. I come from a Surinamese family that is passionate about music! I learned to appreciate Dancehall, Ragga and Bubbling when I was about 6 years old!
The mixed rhythm has increased my passion, and especially feeling what music can do to you. By putting all the elements together, you could just feel the energy it brought! The drums, the electronic sounds, the melodies and the repeated loops of vocals and chopped up kicks. (thanks to DJ MOORTJE, DJ NAFFIE, DJ CHUCKIE, DE SCHUURMAN en DJ MADMAN)
In this mixtape I take myself and you back to an era from which I got my energy and hopefully give you as listeners energy and let you feel what it did to me.
