Sinchi & Friends 44 comes from local Amsterdam artists @shmlss . Top guys, dj's producers and promoters, we 're big fans of what they're doing (with their XXX event with Solar, Prins Thomas, Moscoman, Pagliara, Honey Soundystem last year a big highlight for us) . As to be expected from the fellas, this mix is a blend of genres; some ambient, disco, percussion and some hints of house music.
1) Introduce yourself?
We are SHMLSS, 2 guys from Holland, we love to play records and share good music with the world.
2) What have been your highlights from the last 12 months?
The last year we spent more time on our label; XXX.
The result are some pretty good releases of so many talented producers. We did some great parties at Tivoli, Radion, All We Want Festival and most recently at De Marktkantine.
For our own music; we are very grateful for the releases on Eskimo and Nein records and a lot of really cool gigs in Holland and abroad the last year.
3) What do you have lined up for the coming year?
Next month there will drop a 12” on the Berlin based Oye records. It contains 4 electronic edits of older tunes from various countries.
Some gigs in countries we did not visit with our record bags yet.
And of course more releases on our XXX imprint coming up as well. The next release contains tracks by JMII, Il Est Vilaine, Marvin & Guy and ourselves.
We also have some parties planned in Amsterdam & Utrecht for the next club season.
