Brandon Matthews tied the Temple school record for career tournament titles, matching Geoffrey Sisk's mark of eight set back in 1986.He turned professional in October 2016. and had a successful start to his professional career, finishing tied for 9th place in his first professional tournament, and winning his second event. In 2017 he overcome an absence for a herniated disc and two bulging discs to continue his pga career.
