Dan Girardi played junior hockey on the London Knights he won the 2005 OHL Championship and the 2005 Memorial Cup.Somehow he went undrafted, He contacted several NHL teams for a tryout. The New York Rangers took a second look at him and invited him to their training camp in the 2005–06 season. The Rest is history as over the course of a 927 game career he established himself as one of the most consistent defensemen in New York Rangers history, He was the true defintion of the Black and Blue Shirts as night in and night out he played with the heart and soul of a warrior, He has the most blocked shots (1,954) since the NHL began to track blocked shots consistently in 2005-06. His teams reached the playoffs in 12 of his 13 seasons, including four trips to the conference final and one to the Cup Final, He joins Mark Rosenman and AJ Cater to talk about his new podcast.
