Joe Pignatano is one of the most beloved Men in Met history if you don't believe me just spend a week in Mets Fantasy Camp, players and campers a like flock to him to hear his baseball stories, he has caught for legendary pitchers Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale and Sal Maglie, he was teammates with Roy Campenella, Pee Wee Reese and Duke Snider, He played in the 1959 World Series with the Los Angeles Dodgers and ended his playing career with the New York Mets, hitting into a triple play in his final Major League at bat. After his playing career ended, he was a coach for the Washington Senators (1965-1967), New York Mets (1968-1981) and Atlanta Braves (1982-1985). During his years as bullpen coach with the Mets, he also managed to cultivated a legendary vegetable garden in the bullpen. He joins Mark and AJ to talk about the man he coached under in Washington and Ny and who he hopes gets elected into Baseballs Hall of Fame Gil Hodges.
