Description

Marlon Anderson was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the second round of the 1995 amateur draft. In 1998, while playing for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons, he was named the International League Rookie of the Year. On September 8 of the same year, he made his Major League debut as a pinch hitter, hitting a home run off Mel Rojas of the New York Mets. He went on to have a 12 year major league career with Philadelphia Phillies,Tampa Bay Devil Rays , St Louis Cardinals New York Mets, The Washington nationals,and the Los Angeles Dodgers,he was known to be one of the best pinch-hitters in the game. He served as a guest color analyst for the Philadelphia Phillies radio broadcasts during the 2014 season. and just last month The New York Mets announced that he would serve as the Hitting Coach for the Brooklyn Cyclones. He joins Mark and AJ to talk about his new position and about his great career.
