Mika Zabanejad talks to 540am SPORTSTALKNY's Mark Rosenman and the media following the Rangers 5-3 win over the Hurricanes. Mika Zibanejad tallied three points (two goals, one assist), including a power play goal, and recorded the game-winning goal. Zibanejad was selected as the game’s Second Star. He has registered a point in six of the last seven games (seven goals, five assists), and he has posted a multi-point game in five of the seven contests. In addition, he has recorded 18 points (10 goals, eight assists) in 15 games since returning to the Rangers’ lineup on Nov. 27. Zibanejad has tallied 29 points this season, and 26 of his 29 points have either been a goal or the primary assist on a goal. He has logged at least 20:00 of ice time in 18 of 24 games he has played this season, and he has also logged 19:00 or more of ice time in 22 of the 24 games he has played; the only games in which Zibanejad has not logged 19:00 or more of ice time this season were when he was injured on Oct. 27 vs. Boston (6:31) and when he returned to the lineup on Nov. 27 vs. Carolina (17:25).
