Mo Vaughn was one of the biggest and most feared hitters  in baseball.He was e a 12-letter varsity athlete in basketball, football, and baseball. at Trinity High School in Pawling, New York, he played college ball at Seton Hall for where he set the school record for home runs with 28. In his three years at Seton Hall he hit a total of 57 home runs and 218 RBIs, both team records.and earned the Jack Kaiser Award as MVP of the 1987 Big East Conference Baseball Tournament while keying the Pirates' championship run. He was a first round draft pick of the Boston Red Sox, he was a three-time All-Star selection and won the American League MVP award in 1995 with the Boston Red Sox.
