Rick Carpiniello began working in The Journal News' sports department (back when it was The Reporter Dispatch and eight other newspapers) in October of 1977 after a year of covering high school sports as a stringer. In 1978 he began covering the New York Rangers and the National Hockey League. To put that in context he has covered the team through and done post game interviews with 20 different Rangers head coaches, Phil Esposito, Dave Maloney, Walt Tkaczuk,Barry Beck Ron Greshner, Kelly Kisio, Mark Messier, Brian Leetch, Jaromir Jagr, Chris Drury Ryan Callahan and Ryan McDonagh have all worn the C over the 38 years he has covered the team, he has seen his share of summer joy and Spring disappointment covering the Blueshirts. He Joins Mark And Aj to breakdown what went wrong with the 2015-16 New York Rangers.
