Willie Colon played his high school football at Cardinal Hayes High School in The Bronx. As a senior, he received the Cardinal Hayes Outstanding Defensive Player Award as the teams defensive MVP, from there he went on to play his college football right here on long island at Hofstra university,where he earned Atlantic Ten All-Conference, First Team All-Conference and First Team Walter Camp All-American honors while at the school. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft and was part of the Steelers' Super Bowl victory over the Arizona Cardinals. He spend 3 years as a member of the NY Jets and in 2017 he joined SNY as a contributing studio analyst to the network's lineup of exclusive Jets programming, including "Jets Pre-Game Live" and "Jets Post-Game Live." you can also catch him on Laces Out on Barstool Radio .
