Willie O'Ree will celebrate the 63rd anniversary of  breaking  the NHL’s color barrier on 1/18/21. and then exactly 1 month from then he will have his No. 22 jersey retired prior to the Bruins Feb. 18th game against the Devils becoming  the 12th player in team history to have his sweater hung in TD Garden. The NHL has named an award  to "recognize the individual who has worked to make a positive impact on his or her community, culture or society to make people better through hockey."  He joins SPORTSTALKNY to talk about his amazing career.
