Roald Dahl - Words from a Short Story Writer.
This poetic mashup is based on the voice and tenor of beloved children's author Roald Dahl talking about the creative act from the perspective of a short story writer.
This particular piece, even though it is just over a minute, took me hours to put together. I have created many 3, 4, and 5 minute instrumental pieces in an hour or two, but this particular short piece was something I kept pecking at for weeks before it finally came together. I often find that my more poetic spoken word pieces, such as in the "Media Echos" album, take considerable more time, focus and thot than the instrumentals I have made.
Of course I too have dreams of making an income with my creative acts, just like Roald Dahl dreamed of as an aircraftman for the RAF, and you can help those dreams come true!
