Description

Easter begins in the shadows. In Luke 24 verses 1–12, the women come to the tomb grieving, only to discover it empty. They receive the message: “He is not here, but has risen.” Grief is a faithful way to show up at Easter. Like Peter, who runs to the tomb in the space between sorrow and hope, we don’t need all the answers to take a step toward the good news. This Easter Sunday Pastor Reeves helps us explore the promise that grief does not cancel out hope, and hope doesn’t wait for our grief to be gone. Join us with shouts of Alleluia or whispers of longing. The Risen Christ meets us all on the way.
