The next album project on Hell Yeah is a long distance overseas collaboration between the Italian label and Australian producers Somerville & Wilson. Yantar is a seven track affair that marks the duo’s debut LP and it follows on from EPs on labels like Danny Was A Drag King, ISM Records and Paper Recordings.
We’ve always enjoyed the output of Australia’ Somerville & Wilson. The masters of Balearic chug have been churning out disco bombs for some time, so we jumped at the chance to premiere one of the tracks from their new long player. Xor and Or is a wistful trip laden with tribal and acid twinges. Get lost in it.
