Originally written by legendary Cleveland musician, John Bassette in the early 70's, I recorded this version in tribute to him after he passed away. It didn't make it onto the album that was put together by Jim Ballard and many other local musicians who knew him, but I did get to perform it at the concert that was held in his honor, which was beautiful and memorable. Thank you John - I'm glad to have known you and to have been touched by your gentle spirit. I hope you like it, and I'll see you again one day. <3
