I couldn't resist putting this one out today - one of my favorite songs by The Temptations. My Mom bought me the album, "Psychedelic Shack" when I graduated from 6th grade, (she was incredibly cool) and it was a life changer! I learned every song on that album and wore the grooves off of it! I loved all of the songs, but for some reason, this one always stuck with me - maybe it was Melvin Franklin's soothing voice, or just the feeling of joy at the return of summer that it captures. Many years ago, before you could find whatever you wanted online, I was wishing I could hear it again, and I just decided to record my own version of it, with a little help from my daughter, Soraya, on flute.
