I wrote this song on Nov 8th, 2016.
At that time things didn't turn out as many of us had hoped.
Now here we are, 4 years later, with renewed hope that we can recover and wake up from the nightmare of this last toxic administration, and try to live together with more civility and respect. I know it's a tall order, but at least we won't have the voice of hatred and intolerance being the loudest one.
I am so thankful to be able to channel this energy in a positive way and express it clearly and truthfully, and I'm looking forward to one day being able to play it with the band. In the meantime, I'm putting this vibration out into the Universe. Let's come together, start the healing, and get to work loving and supporting each other.

compassion for each other got to let it show
those that disagree seem to have no clue
