After a lifetime of campfire gigs, Mike found himself on a stage and behind a mic for the first time in 2017 and then, the songs began to come and with them, his own voice.
Now, with a catalog more than 80 of his own songs, Mike has found his passion, his voice and his true calling.
His influences include John Prine, Harry Chapin, Jackson Brown and Gordon Lightfoot, Mike is an honest blend of all of them, with a voice and style all his own.
A lifetime Albertan and father of two wonderful daughters, Mike believes it is never too late to try new things. With the support of his family, his community and his peers, Mike has a full head of steam, he’s chasing his dream and at 65 years young, he’ll tell you he is just getting started.
