Locked Concept’s first release of the year comes from Tellus and Uneven, featuring a superb guest appearance from Elusive Elements and a remix by Akuratyde.
The opening and title track, Last Minute, is a true contribution to the autonomic sound—familiar territory for both Tellus and Uneven.
Elusive Elements steps up to join Uneven on Aestivation, keeping things half-time, moody, and deeply rooted in the autonomic style. This beautifully crafted piece builds slowly, leading into an emotive second drop.
Tellus returns alongside Uneven for Tidal Reveries, this time slowing the tempo. While this track differs in BPM from the rest of the EP, it maintains the signature sonics both Tellus and Uneven are known for across their catalogues.
Akuratyde’s remix of Moving On by Tellus closes out the EP. Staying true to the essence of the original, Akuratyde lifts the BPM from 130 to 170 and adds some groovy breaks for good measure.
Tellus and Uneven’s sound and production continue to evolve and expand beyond genre, and it’s unlikely this will be the last time we see these two innovative producers collaborating.
