Parquet Recordings Mixtape 10 by William Medagli & Thallulah
William Medagli was born in Cassino, a small city between Rome and Naples, in 1980.
He grew up in the magical and innovative 80s, an era when music started using new instruments and was reinvented, creating brand new genres and styles based on drum machines and syncs.
During these years, William became interested in all those new genre of music, which will set him apart in the future and in his carrier choice.
His musical influences are various: from Giorgio Moroder to Kraftwerk, from Depeche Mode to Kool and the Gang, and don’t forget jazz, rock and blues; but it was ITALODISCO, his real music, that influenced his works.
Antonella AKA Thallulah was born in 1986 in a small town between Rome and Naples. Since she was a child she always loved music, especially rock music. In fact she was the vocalist of a local band for a few time. Her musical horizons begins to expand when she met William Medagli who become her partner.
Her passion as a dj was born only in 2012 following her boyfriend William in various stages in the best places of Paris. She decides that the time has come to start her musical career. In the summer of 2012, Thallulah plays in many places in Europe, especially in Paris and in Italy.
In the fall of 2012 she begins to make her first productions accompanied by William Medagli, creating new sounds and collaborating with international artists. Her sound goes from house to nudisco, from dark sounds to Chicago. Her dj sets, as her productions, are very eclectic like her creative personality.
Both together released their debut single "En Route On Mind" together with Savino on Parquet Recordings in July 2016.
