Aitor and DJ Joma have struck up a great friendship over the last few years, despite the great distance between them; Aitor in Tenerife and Joma in Northern Ireland. They share a similar love of beautiful music, never afraid to go too deep, their emotional, dreamy melodies and poetic words will invigorate your mind and soothe your soul.
Having grown up on their individual eclectic combinations of European electronica and synth-infused 80s music … all which became infused with their own love for electronic music, Aitor and Joma have ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence.
Today, after sharing music together closely these last two years, this translates into their DJ sets and production releases where they pick apart and infuse together all the pieces of this music that they love best: beautiful synth work, lush backdrops, brooding basslines combined with haunting ethereal vocals… all on top of pronounced foot-shuffling house beats and chilled ambient tones. Together they create the very essence of their signature sound, an emotional and organic contrast of dark and bright, deep, cinematic, genre bending styles, rich in melody and emotion.
Aitor has been a fantastic supporter of DJ Joma’s production work which he frequently showcases on his Boogie Bunker Radio Station from Tenerife as well as his sensational 'Sunsets' monthly podcast show.
Aitor was born in Tenerife, the largest of Spain’s Canary Islands, he is resident DJ at the best beach club on the Island – Le Club, with the innate ability to read any dance floor, he also spins at various night spots around Spain, as well as holding a residency at the iconic Siam Park in Tenerife, voted the best waterpark in the world.
Aitor Robles specialises in sunset vibes sets, he regularly releases ‘sunsets with Robles’ sessions on his Soundcloud page, his sessions take the listener on a musical journey from deep vocal house, right through to afro and downtempo. With Le Club being out of season in the winter, Aitor likes to switch it up to see where the music will take him next, he goes worldwide & has been flying out to the Maldives, first for a residency at the prestigious One & Only, Reethi Rah resort. Enjoying the island life so much he then came back out to the Maldives for a season at the brand new Cafe Del Mar based on Crossroads. He was also the opening DJ for the new Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Qatar.

DJ Joma is an Irish DJ & producer who has enjoyed several successful releases to date on labels such as Colour & Pitch, Personal Belongings, 3Bridge Records, Nordic Voyage Recordings, M-Sol Records, Suprematic Recordings, Nicksher Music and Be Adult Music (Ibiza). With a string of releases already scheduled for 2022, it promises to be a bright future for DJ Joma.
His weekly ‘Thru The Looking Glass’ Podcast show seemed like the natural progression of what he has been doing, and thanks to the help of radio stations like Pure Ibiza Radio, Ibiza Global Radio, Bloop Radio London, Boogie Bunker Radio (Tenerife), Estacion Ibiza Radio, Data Transmission Radio, Radio Zoom (Berlin), Graffiti Kings (London) and Like That Underground (Germany), it has developed brilliantly, and helped bring the DJ Joma to all corners of the world.
