"Today, as we begin this Advent, the promise is that if we really, really welcome the Lord in, he will do something extraordinary," Father Perry tells us in his homily for the first episode of our annual Advent podcast. "We got four weeks of preparing for the birthday of Jesus. Four weeks to clean house, to sweep it clean, to open it up, and to beg in humility for the Lord to enter."
