"My recommendation is, as we go through this day, we fill it with as much gratitude as possible," Father Perry tells us in his homily for the third episode of our annual Advent podcast. "All through the day, stop and think, 'God, I'm walking. God, I'm seeing. God, I'm hearing. God, I ate breakfast.' Gratitude, and a deep appreciation that God will provide: If these could be the two bookends of our life today, let us see what blessings come from this."
