"Jesus Christ is really present here as a powerful force of forgiveness who wishes to cleanse you and wipe away your sin and restore your goodness and bring you back into full relationship, "Father Perry tells us in his homily for Monday of the Third Week of Lent. "Will you accept that? That's the simple truth! But sometimes we prefer to keep the focus on ourselves and our sin and how unworthy we are. The simple truth in our faith is that we have this God, unlike any other God that we've ever seen in all of the ages, who just simply loves us."
