"Fear, I have observed, is one of the killers of the spirit. Once we get locked in on fear, very little good can come. It has to be broken," Father Perry tells us for the 11th episode of our Sunday Homilies podcast, on the Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time. "So it's no surprise to me that Jesus so often says, especially around the question of faith and trust, 'Don't be afraid.' Rather trust, believe. Today he invites us into that place."
