"We once walked in darkness. God has given us a great light through Jesus the Christ. And he showed us even in his dying what it means to be fully human and fully divine. That you can love those who hate you. You don't have to hate because they hate you. You can't make me hate you back — that's my choice. And if I choose to hate you, I am no better than you. That's the light that Jesus the Christ gives to us."
