"It's very important to learn what the value is behind the laws. God doesn't just want us to just to hear the law, or follow the law, or even just to do the law; that's not enough. It's about loving the law in our hearts," Father Perry tells us for the 27th episode of our Sunday Homilies podcast, and celebration of the 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time. "The word implies it so clearly. I think what the law promises is life — life in our hearts, life in our spirit."
