"In all of these themes of growth, the wonderful image is something insignificant, tiny, full of potential, but in itself, not very significant. And then it becomes something tremendous, something great," Father Perry tells us in the 27th episode of our Sunday Homilies podcast. "I think it's a great image for fatherhood, because no body becomes a father and then instantly they're a great father; it takes a lot of work and a lot of knowledge and growing. It's slow."
