By Father Perry D. Leiker, pastor
"All of us are like sheep without a shepherd, sometimes in life," Father Perry tells us in the 32nd episode of our Sunday Homilies podcast. "We have our hard times, we get lost. We have confusion, perhaps angers, frustrations; all kinds of things come up in life. And I suppose one of the main reasons that we come here is so that we can be shepherded, somewhat, by a pastor, but really by the pastor. And that through the word and through the sacraments — and through our praying together, through our singing together — all these are elements of our celebrating faith so that we become shepherded and we find our way, navigate our way, through life."
