By Father Perry D. Leiker, pastor
"Jesus comes to us. We come to him, and we're in need, we're in want; and he says, 'What do you want from me?' It's very important for us to name it, to attempt to name it," Father Perry tells in the 45th episode of our Sunday Homilies podcast. "And he invites us, then, to follow him on his way. That way to the cross is a very powerful and very meaningful experience. It's to come to a place deep within where we can struggle with our suffering and our pain and our rejection and all the other things that life can give to us. And instead of hating, instead of refusing, we can come to that place of loving and even forgiving."
