About the Women of Guitar Video Project:
In late 2019 I came up with an idea to do a weekly video project where I wanted to learn a new piece and record a video of it all within the span of a week. Shortly thereafter I decided that I wanted this project to honor and feature women and nonbinary composers. So far I have learned and recorded 17 pieces.
This project is primarily for already composed works since there are limited funds available to support this project aside from music purchase/score copy acquisition. Of course, please feel free to submit scores that have not been premiered with the understanding that commissioning fees and adjacent payments cannot be remitted in that regard. If the piece is not been premiered, please make note of that in the program note section of the form.
