Happy October, partiers! Halloween is right around the corner and it’s one of our favorite times of year, so we made another scary mix for you for 2018! And of course had to bring in our friends, who are the only people who enjoy putting together seasonal mixes as much as we do, @HeartOfGoldSounds!
We met Gareth and Rob of Heart of Gold through their Connect party, which had a great run at Sayers Club as one of the best deep/tech nights in the city, and has now evolved into a day party. We love how passionate they are about music and about putting on a great party and we count them among some of our favorite people in the local scene. The duo’s passion and care clearly show when crafting their seasonal mixes (which you can check out here - https://soundcloud.com/heartofgoldsounds/sets/heart-of-gold-seasonal-mix), so we were excited to see what they would bring for Halloween! So excited that we decided to just let them do their thing and forgo our typical hour long format to bring you an extended, nearly two hour mix this month ;) If you’ll be celebrating the holiday in LA, Heart of Gold is playing Minimal Effort: All Hallow's Eve, alongside Boys Noize, Ardalan, Christian Martin and Kill Frenzy. We see big things on the horizon for them!
