Like so many artists, we discovered @hennaonna 's music for the first time on David Nichols' @closertotruth label — her gorgeous and sophisticated Midori no Basho EP, released just over a year ago. Based in Yerevan, Armenia, Henna has also released stand-out tracks on labels including Nite Grooves, Kindisch, Lisztomania and more.
Though impressed by her productions, we never heard her DJ. And then we heard her mix, and we were sold on it. Henna has a dope sound — that deep and warm deep house vibe that fits so well with our Sanctify mix series.
