The mix I did in Vienna for my Livin The Vibe series contains almost zero "electronic music" outside of a few favorites. This is more of a crudely mixed mixtape than anything, its me mixing my "life music".. music that's stood the test of time and feels as if it is being sung by me internally, from people like Louis Armstrong, Bill Withers, Nirvana, Lionel Ritchie, Elliott Smith, 2pac, Gladys Knight, Tears For Fears, Alt-J, etc.
It's music that makes me cry. Life makes me cry often. That's how I spend my days, often. Walking the streets of random historical cities, crying behind my sunglasses. Tears of joy, tears of love, tears of despair, and tears of those long gone but not forgotten.
