"Our interest began when we were just kids, started to listening the records and compilations of DJ Budai in the late 90s. These popular Techno House Classic sets made up our mind for heading to the world of electronic music and our future was not a question anymore.
The first steps we made to create music with a friend in 2001, using pc programmes. From that point we kept on practicing and trying to find our way. In 2003 we managed to buy two turntables and started to purchase techno and house vinyls.
"The Judge Brothers"- story goes back to 2005, the year when we had the opportunity to try our skills in smaller clubs close to our hometown.
In 2009 we decided to create a mix to participate in the DJ contest of the nationwide recognised online radio justmusic.fm and we successfully made our way to the finals.
The outcome of the competition was the chance for us to be regulars on the radio, playing our sets on a weekly basis.
Our collaboration with Thomas Borza dates back to 2010, the year when we met him and launched The Mariposas Production. Over the years we became unique example in the region to get the everyone together. Our local venue was a constant meeting point of this community, providing a permanent quality of underground house, minimal and techno to the audience, keeping a close eye on the most significant figures of our favourite genres.
Recently we get the inspiration mainly from Russian, Romanian and English releases and playing our straightforward style in some of the most popular venues in Budapest.
Since we have the technical facilities, paying extra attention on producing our own music without referring to any major label."
