Stellar Fountain presents Part II of the remixes for I Am Wolter’s excellent 'Merciful Lord'.
Originally released in November of last year it found the Morocco resident crafting a deep, cross-cultural, and wonderfully organic gem of a track. Now we find the label presenting the second edition with equally impressive interpretations from Jaap Ligthart & Köschk.
Hailing from Beirut, Köschk brings more of a melodic techno slant to the release with great success. Its powerful percussive presence is offset with tranquil arps and wailing overlays, while the main musical motif breathes perfectly during an expansive break. Punchy yet meditative, it’s a heady eight-minute journey that rounds out an excellent second installment for I Am Wolter’s 'Merciful Lord'. Highly recommended.
