LICKDOWN 2020 - My first recorded set since the TDK cassette. Its a Freestyle mix that starts of with my own Si Carvell edit of Lord Leopard s "Love is a Stranger" followed very smoothly by the gritty techy track "Together" that was introduced to me at the COMEBACK PARTY by Ryan Jones. 3rd up is the Afrojack remake of the Donna Summer classic "I Feel Love" which i intentionally bring in and with a slight distorted delay and add some extra ACID in for good measure, we all love the wobble :) - Next up its Steven Lee (Lee Cabrera) and Nic Fanciulli s "Shake it" looped out into my own Si Carvell re-work of Mary Davidson's "Work it" co prodcued with Rob Tissera, followed by a nice drop into the Basement Jaxx banger "Jump & Shout" ( Erik Hagleton remix ) ive added a bit of a hypnotic looping with a bit of reverb so that Patrick Topping s "Be Sharp say Nowt" blends and drops nicely. Onto one of my all time modern favorites from the one and only FISHER - Follow The Fish and "I'm losing it" a track close to my heart as it knocked my socks off. Ive added some of my own SFX to this, to put my edge on it. Before dropping the next track "The Yardman" by SRVD, i incorporated a Swedish House Mafia sample to help things roll out. Now into some very hard overlapped aggressive SFX before moving into my own "Sparked out on Acid" track that i co produced with Rob Tissera followed by a lovely cheeky drop into our co produced "Looking out for Love" track. Just when you thought it was all over, i re-introduce the repetitive cartoony Swedish House Mafia sample before a mash up of 90ss House intros mixed into the final track "Let me Show you Love" by K-Klass Bobbi Depasois Paul Roberts K Klass Russ K Klass xxxx
